Let’s say you want to reach out to technology blogs to pitch them.
So, you search for technology blogs. You make a list of all the different blogs you find. Then you build an outreach campaign to connect with them. And that ends up taking a lot of time to do manually.
But, there’s a shortcut we can take advantage of to find the best relevant blogs and websites, that also works for many different types of businesses and blogs.
So, let’s say that you are searching for technology blogs. You will probably come across search results like this:
In addition to specific technology blog websites, some of the results are going to be “listicle” articles – articles that list other websites or blogs. This is curated research done for you of websites that you might want to connect with.
Or, let’s say you want to connect with businesses to pitch partnerships or cold email as potential customers. As an example, let’s say you want to connect with “web designers”.
So, you’ll go to your search engine and search for web designers.
In addition to seeing search results that show you web design companies, you will also come across list articles like these (“100 best web designers in [your city]”):
In each of these articles, they have curated a list of technology blogs / web designers.
If we could reach out to everyone on these lists, wouldn’t that be great?
